Well Howler is making some moves, they were just crowned #3 in NME's best new bands of 2011 so far, and they were also the editors personal choice. If that's not crazy enough, Howler is now going on an east coast tour with Minneapolis buddies, Tapes n Tapes, in september, Bowery Ballroom here we come! Go Howler! Go So-TM!

Well it's been killing us not to talk about this until now, but last night we signed Nice Purse! Acoustic, folk, punk, indie, fans of Norwegian black metal, you guys are going to fall in love with them!

The record is almost done, and we will be dropping it in a few months! We will be updating you with some video and some other hints at what exactly Nice Purse is all about.

UltraChorus and Total Babe were at CMJ this year, and both bands tore shit up at the TwentySeven Media Showcase! Since we (UltraChorus) run the label and apparently the camera, we only have photos of Total Babe's set at public assembly on the 21st (their second show was more of a showcase for the members of "These United States", and several label reps... that's just the Rumor anyway).

What did I conclude this year? I figured out if you take talent and divide it by age, our very own Total Babe stands toe to toe with The XX!
